Yesterday was April Fools Day. How I loathe April Fools Day. You enter a world where truth and logic no longer apply. This
can even carry over to the world of webcomics. Several webcomics have tried playing nasty, cruel jokes on their readers.
Megatokyo, just to pick one popular example, announced that they're going daily but the author is taking a 20 strip break. A few other strips have made fake endings for their strips. And one strip went so far as to have the main character commit suicide (but in a joking manner, so its forgivable :)
Sadly, lots of fans take these jokes seriously, despite the date on the calendar. Oh well. I'd be afraid to mock the ending of my comic because I wouldn’t want to lose readers, but I guess most would either realize they've been had, not fall for the joke, or check back for the hell of it. As it is, I have no April Fools joke for you. So sorry.
