Comic for Wednesday, April 7, 2004
   
Yesterday I bought the Comic Party DVD, the first anime I've purchased in months (extra cash is hard to come by these days). I'd already seen a few episodes subtitled, and I found it very interesting because its about drawing Doujinshi. The cool people at "Right Stuf International" released Comic Party in the states, which seemed to be quite a risky move to me. An anime about drawing doujinshi just doesn't seem mainstream. Perhaps I'll be proven wrong. I still haven't watched it yet, but I'm looking forward to seeing if the English voices are any good. Taishi's voice will be especially fun to listen to, I'm sure (he's the guy with the glasses, reminds me of Ilpallazzo from Excel Saga somehow).
Well, thats enough ranting about a series that few people have probably seen, so on to the comic! Todays and Fridays comics are shorter than the first five, but Monday's makes up for it by being extra long. See ya!
